Short description:
- I am a University Lecturer at the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Kinesitherapy of the Romanian-American University, with the following core teaching subjects:
- Kinesitherapy in Rheumatic Disorders
- Kinesitherapy in Neurological Disorders
- Kinesitherapy in Geriatrics and Gerontology
- Measurement and Evaluation in Kinesitherapy.
- I graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Domestic and International Commercial and Financial-Banking Relations at the Romanian-American University, obtaining a degree in Economics after passing my graduation examination at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. In 2007, I completed the postgraduate specialization program in European Integration at the University of Bucharest.
- I graduated from the Faculty of Kinesitherapy and Special Motor Skills and continued my specialized studies through the Master’s degree program in Motor and Somato-Functional Rehabilitation and Re-education, which I completed in 2015 at the National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest.
- In 2021, I was awarded a PhD in Educational Sciences, with my doctoral dissertation entitled “Prevention of Spinal Disorders in Preschool Children through the Application of Physical Education Methods.”
- Throughout my more than 30 years of professional activity, I have developed extensive and multidisciplinary expertise, supported by continuous professional development, courses, and specialized training in healthcare quality and patient safety management, healthcare facility and healthcare service assessment, and internal and external clinical audit.
- An important stage of my professional career was the period 2015–2024, during which I held the position of Head of the Quality Management Department at Clinical CF Hospital No. 2 in Bucharest.
- Since 2018, I have been a healthcare services evaluator listed in the Register of Active Evaluators of the National Authority for Quality Management in Healthcare (ANMCS). This experience has enabled me to deepen, from both an institutional practice and external assessment perspective, my understanding of the processes involved in ensuring and improving the quality of healthcare services, clinical risk management, and the development of an organizational culture focused on patient safety.

Areas of interest/research:
- Kinesitherapy, prevention and prophylaxis of musculoskeletal disorders, with a particular interest in spinal disorders in children and adolescents

- Clinical audit and healthcare service quality assessment
- Continuing professional development of healthcare professionals
Teaching activities and professional projects:
- In my teaching activities, I seek to integrate the principles of prevention, clinical risk management, quality, and patient safety, while also drawing on practical professional experience in the learning process, in order to contribute to the training of future healthcare professionals.
- I am involved in developing initiatives dedicated to quality and patient safety education in healthcare, with an emphasis on learning from clinical practice, preventing clinical risks, and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, academia, and patients.
- As President of the Association for Safety and Quality in Healthcare Facilities, I coordinate projects and activities aimed at developing a culture of quality and safety in healthcare through collaborative learning from clinical experience.
