Romanian – Korean Studies Center (RKSC) was founded in December 2011, within the Romanian – American University. The center is aimed at promoting the study of the Korean language, culture and business environment, both for the university students (future businesspeople, diplomats and specialists in international law), but also to those who are passionate about the Korean model.

For our students, among the important benefits we can mention the association with prestigious Korean universities, study trips to Korea, but also summer schools, organized annually, with the main purpose of making known both countries’ culture and history.

Furthermore, the Center has managed to create a tradition by offering a clear view of the important Korean cultural aspects, such as: Samulnori (traditional Korean drums), but also Buchaechum (traditional fac dance).
