The first summer school in Romania in the field of hospitality industry

Hospitality International Summer School” is an intensive practical training program, which is addressed mainly to students, master students and last but not least to all those interested in career development in the hospitality industry.

The program is organized by the Romanian-American University (Bucharest) in partnership with Babeș-Bolyai University – Faculty of Business (Cluj-Napoca) and Ștefan cel Mare University (Suceava).

HISS does not mean “school” in the classical sense of the word. In addition to the practical experiences gained through specialists in the field and visits to the most important hotels in the country, HISS also means an excellent opportunity to discover new places, to meet new people and, why not, to have fun.

The summer school organized by the Romanian-American University in partnership with the University of Alabama in Huntsville explores globalization, world economy, negotiation, international business management, European monetary policy, capital markets and organizational behavior in Romania, an Eastern European country member of the European Union and NATO.

The courses and seminars are given by professors from the two organizing universities, as well as by special guests from the business and diplomatic environment.

The participants will be Romanian students in undergraduate and master’s degree programs, together with UAH students.

The practical side of the summer school will include team negotiations, case studies, project and foreign trade opportunities between the USA and Romania, project management and much more.
