For the School of Architecture, the admission process will be organized following the issuance of the forthcoming Government Decision approving the framework of fields and specializations/university study programs, as well as the structure of higher education institutions for the 2026-2027 academic year. Admission to the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Architecture includes a Competitive Exam designed to assess candidates’ abilities in freehand drawing, observation, spatial perception, proportion, composition, and graphic representation.

The competitive exam consists of two stages:

1. Submission of a portfolio of personal works, uploaded online;
2. An interview based on the submitted portfolio.

The portfolio shall include the following three sections:

Section 1 – General Culture and Architectural Heritage. The candidate shall produce a drawing depicting an emblematic building, a historic or heritage site, a monument, or another landmark of cultural and architectural significance.

Section 2 – Spatial Representation and Volumetric Composition. The candidate shall create, at their discretion, drawings representing objects, buildings, or abstract compositions, demonstrating their ability to understand and represent space, volumes, and compositions made up of geometric forms. The representation may include plans, elevations, sections, and/or axonometric drawings.

Section 3 – Observational Drawing. The candidate shall include works drawn from direct observation, freely selected and considered relevant for demonstrating their observational skills, graphic representation abilities, and artistic personality.

Each section shall be presented on a separate A3-size page. All works shall be compiled into a single PDF document with a maximum file size of 10 MB. The images included must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

The portfolio will be reviewed and assessed by a specialist committee, which will take into account the quality of graphic representation, visual expression skills, understanding of space, sense of proportion and composition, as well as the coherence of the creative approach.

As a complement to the portfolio assessment, the candidate shall attend an interview lasting approximately 15 minutes. During the interview, the candidate will present their motivation for choosing the study program and explain the conceptual, compositional, and graphic choices reflected in the works included in the portfolio.

The grade awarded for the competitive exam is final and may not be appealed.

The final admission score is calculated as a weighted average of two components: 50% the Baccalaureate (High School Graduation Examination) average and 50% the score obtained in the Competitive Exam.
