The Romanian-American University hosted the third day of the Bucharest Food Summit, which focused on the topic: Competitiveness and Profit through Technology and Sustainability. Local and Regional Security, with an emphasis on the lasting impact of the corporate supply chain, the resources used, and funding innovation. Now in its 8th edition, the event has become known and appreciated as the most important B2B event dedicated to the sustainable agribusiness sector, food and beverage production, retail, HoReCa, and related fields.
In his opening speech, Mr. Costel Negricea, PhD, Rector of the Romanian-American University, presented the guests with a brief history of the host institution, which will soon celebrate 35 years of continuous activity and takes pride in its over 50,000 graduates. He also welcomed the partnership with the Bucharest Food Summit.
During the event, numerous industry leaders, experts, and professionals with vast experience came to the Romanian-American University campus to discuss the latest trends, developments, and opportunities, as well as the challenges and risks facing the sector they represent.
The purpose of the event was to create a platform for strategic dialogue and networking at a high professional level, facilitating a genuine exchange of expertise, knowledge, and forward-looking proposals. Innovation was the key word under which this edition took place, aiming to boost industry development through the exchange of valuable know-how, best practices, and new collaboration and growth opportunities.
Among the distinguished guests at the Romanian-American University were prominent public figures such as Adrian Chesnoiu – General Director of AFIR, Gabriel Biriș – Tax Institute, Dan Țone – Entrepreneur, Eutron, Varujan Pambuccian – Member of Parliament, as well as representatives of prestigious companies and academic institutions.
