The Romanian-American University had the honor of welcoming H.E. Mr. Le Vinh Thang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Romania

On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Costel Negricea, Ph.D. Habil. Professor, Rector of the Romanian-American University, and Tudor Edu, Ph.D. Habil. Professor, Vice-President for research, innovation and internationalization, welcomed H.E. Mr. Le Vinh Thang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, together with members of the Embassy delegation.

During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities for strengthening educational and research cooperation between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Romania. The participants also explored potential avenues for collaboration between the Romanian-American University and academic and research institutions in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Furthermore, ideas for cooperation between the University and the Embassy were discussed, leading to the identification of several concrete areas for future joint initiatives across multiple fields.
