Do you want to apply to one of our English-taught programs? Are you not quite there yet, in terms of English skills?

Well, you can still register, submit the documents on the admission platform, have the Skype interview with us and, if you need to improve your English language skills, you can choose to register for our English Preparatory Course, before starting the English-taught bachelor or master program.

The English Preparatory course is an online program, which consists of 3 months of English language classes, 2 sessions per week (4h), with specialized English language instructors. 

How does it work?

  1. You find an English-taught program that interests you.
  2. You apply on the admission platform, upload the documents and make the payment of the application fee (100 EUR)
  3. The university will schedule a Skype interview with you.
  4. If you pass the interview, the next step is to take an English Placement test, in order to see if you can continue directly with an English-taught program (you should have at least B1-B2 level) or if you need additional English courses.
  5. If, after the test results, you have the required English level (at least B1-B2), you can continue directly with your application to an English-taught program.
  6. If, after the test results, your English skills need to be improved, we can provide the English Preparatory Course for you.
  7. If, after the 3-month module, you pass the English test, you will then continue your application to the English-taught program. Your file will be sent to the Romanian Ministry of Education – in order to obtain the letter of acceptance. After you receive it, you pay the discounted fee for the bachelor or master program and then, you apply for the student visa, in order to come to Romania.
  8. If, after the 3-month module, your English still needs improvement, you can apply for a new 3-month module. Once you reach the desired level, you will be able to continue your application to the English-taught program (in that academic year or in the following academic year).

 

The fee for the 3-month module is 800 EUR but, after completing the module, you will pay a discounted fee for the chosen Bachelor/Master program and, at the end, you will have paid only 100 EUR more than the full regular tuition fee for both the program and the preparatory course.  (e.g. after completing the module, you will pay 2700 EUR for the first year of the Bachelor program  and 2900 EUR for the first year of the Master program – or 4000 EUR for the BMTA master program)

 

In order to start your application, please access the admission platform: https://admission.rau.ro/ . After you apply on the platform, we will send you a form allowing you to register for the English Preparatory Course. Please note that, for the course, it is necessary to have minimum 8 participants and maximum 15, therefore, the start date might be flexible.
