”How Big Digital Marketing Campaigns Work”
a course with Rodrigo Hoffmann, Founder and Director of JKR Agency, Brazil
The Romanian-American University, through the Center for Latin-American Studies, in collaboration with the Embassy of Brazil in Bucharest, hosted the event ”How Big Digital Marketing Campaigns Work”, a special course delivered by Rodrigo Hoffmann, Founder and Director of JKR Agency.
Held in the Senate Hall, the event featured an outstanding lecture complemented by practical examples from JKR Agency’s marketing campaigns. Rodrigo Hoffmann described the journey from the creative process and branding strategy to implementation and the achievement of concrete results in a direct and engaging manner, while also sharing examples from the campaigns of the agency he founded 16 years ago and continues to lead with the same energy and enthusiasm as in its early days.
JKR Agency’s extensive portfolio includes brands such as Airbnb, Visa, Disney, and Budweiser, as well as collaborations with celebrities from the worlds of sports and television. The lecture quickly evolved into an open discussion, as participants showed genuine interest in understanding how things truly happen within a marketing campaign. Each campaign presented by Rodrigo Hoffmann became part of a larger story, creating the common thread of what proved to be a truly valuable and inspiring meeting for RAU students.
The course exceeded its initially scheduled duration due to the strong interest shown by participants in current trends and the challenges faced by the industry at an international level. At the end of the 150-minute session, Rodrigo Hoffmann expressed his interest in continuing the collaboration with the Romanian-American University, a space he described as valuable through both its consistency and dynamic spirit.
We extend our gratitude to the Embassy of Brazil in Bucharest, to His Excellency Mr. Ricardo Guerra de Araújo, Ambassador of Brazil to Bucharest, as well as to Mr. Rodrigo Hoffmann!
The Center for Latin-American Studies (CLAS) was established in June 2025 within the Department of American Studies and reflects, at an institutional level, the Romanian-American University’s commitment to international openness and the strengthening of academic relations with the Latin American space, but even more than that, a sign of profound friendship with the Latin American states.
CLAS will actively contribute to the university’s internationalization process by expanding collaborations with higher education institutions, research centers, and cultural organizations in Latin America, offering Romanian-American University students new educational opportunities, academic exchanges, international internships, and access to diverse cultural and professional dimensions. The Center works closely with the embassies and consulates of Latin American countries accredited in Romania, as well as with Romania’s diplomatic representations in the region, supporting intercultural dialogue and joint educational initiatives.
