School of International Business
The School of International Business within the Romanian-American University offers an educational and research path at a high standard of quality, in an internal intellectually stimulating climate, both for students and for the teaching staff.
Guided by values such as the promotion of excellence, professional, moral and social responsibility, freedom of thought and expression, creativity and innovation, cooperation and communication, the School of International Business aims to find itself through academic performances, and not only, in the elite of business schools.
The study programs offered at bachelor and master level target the competencies and the international know-how in business development in various fields of activity, entrepreneurship and intrapreneury, internationalization of companies, intercultural management, strategic management, innovation and management of customer relations on international markets, management of projects with international funding, regional and international economic governance.
The international opening of the School of International Business is supported on the one hand by the organization of study programs taught in English, both at the level of bachelor studies – the “International Business” program, as well as at the level of master studies – the study programs “International Business and Entrepreneurship” and “International Economic Relations & Economic Diplomacy” – and, equally, by the vast network of partnerships with universities in Europe, the USA, Japan and the Republic of Korea that offer students multiple opportunities to obtain scholarships at partner universities.
In addition, students from the bachelor programs “Afaceri Internaționale” and “International Business” can benefit from “double degree” partnership agreements with St. Francis College and Northwood University in the USA, which allow them to become graduates of both RAU and the two American educational institutions. Also, students from the master program International Economic Relations & European Union Studies (IEREUS), can benefit from “double degree” partnership agreement with University of York, UK.
Between 1991 until 2022, the school operated as the School of Domestic and International Business, Banking, and Finance. Starting with the 2022–2023 academic year, the school’s name was changed to the School of International Business.
