Romanian-American University Open to Developing Academic Cooperation with Australia
On Friday, September 4, 2026, Prof. Costel Negricea, PhD, habil., Rector of the Romanian-American University, welcomed H.E. Radu-Gabriel Safta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Australia.
The meeting provided an opportunity for dialogue on developing educational cooperation between Romania and Australia, as well as identifying new opportunities for international collaboration for the Romanian-American University.
The discussions also explored potential avenues for cooperation between the Romanian-American University and academic and research institutions in Australia, with the potential to contribute to strengthening university relations and developing joint initiatives.
Through this meeting, the Romanian-American University reaffirms its openness to international partnerships and to developing projects that support the exchange of experience, academic cooperation, and the connection of its university community to educational and research opportunities at a global level.
