The Romanian-American University is a higher education institution, a non-profit entity, part of the national education system, set up in 1991, accredited by law in 2002, and assessed with the “high degree of trust” qualification by ARACIS (the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education), whose mission is to provide high-quality education and to contribute responsibly to the development of the new generations.

In its over 33 years of existence, the Romanian-American University has demonstrated its performance, involvement, and professionalism, giving wings to the dreams of its over 49,000 graduates.

Redirecting 3.5% of the income tax is the right of every person who earns taxable income to get involved in and support the projects in which (s)he believes. Currently, the state does not finance activities that support the academic endeavors of private higher education institutions. Hence, the support of each and every one of us is crucial for our academic community, for our students and for the future of us all.

Annually, the Romanian-American University grants from its own funds merit, excellence and social aid scholarships, as well as other forms of financial support that amount to over 2 million lei, 20% of our students, the best, being exempt from the tuition fee. Thus, we fulfil our mission, managing to be there for hundreds of families and for our most invested students, in order to help them build a better future for themselves and for all of us.

Your contribution through the redirecting of 3.5% of your income tax, can help support the development of a academic multicultural environment that is fine-tuned for the emotional needs of young people and for their growth and professional development. Together, we can increase the number of scholarships granted based on the criteria of academic performance or extracurricular skills, preserving us among the creators of educational or training programs that should give access to quality education, tailored to the needs of all proactive young people and the developments of tomorrow’s society.
